The neighbor below me lost a few items. I do not have renters insurance and she does not have renters insurance. I have to cover the costs of the constant fans and dehumidifiers in both apartments and the fixing of the cracked ceiling beneath me. I have tried chlorine, spraying the wall and using it as shampoo, lysol drenching, & dehumidifiers yet we still seem to get the sniffles from the room. If ripping out the carpet is the ONLY answer, will the mold ever go away since it is a cement floor basement ?

The people who lived here before refinished the wood floors 5 years ago and the walls were all painted white. we have had our A/C fixed, but we haven’t cleaned the ducts yet. any suggestions on how to get rid of this god awful smell?

I have it set up to automatically drain, the drain connection was not leaking, and when I moved it I hear water INSIDE of the unit (not in the normal catch area), and when I tilted it Niagra falls came out, but I can’t figure out where? I didn’t even know dehumidifiers could have water inside of the sealed part? Any one know where the water actually is and how to stop it from going there so it won’t leak? Thanks
