Dehumidifiers and sinus infections?

I was just wondering, if you over use a dehumidifier, can that create sinus problems? I have irritated sinuses/etc. and was wondering if my dehumidifier could be the source. Thanks!

Normally, your sinuses are coated with mucus, which protects your sinuses and traps foreign materials. If you are continuously exposed to overly dry air, your sinuses will dry out, which makes it easier to develop a sinus infection. If you must use a dehumidifier, try getting some plain saline spray and spraying it up your nose. This may help prevent your sinuses from drying out.
