Do dehumidifiers come with a moisture sensor these days?

I want to buy one for my friend as he has a very slight problem with a small puddle forming from time to time in his basement.
But I don’t think he would view my solution as a solution if he had to turn it on every time the puddle forms. I would be so much better if the thing turned itself on.
But do modern dehumidifiers have this option?
