Do you need a humidifier in a babies room?

My husband and I are in my sisters house, and we’re in the basement. It’s a very nice basement but the babies room has no windows.

This is my first, so I”m not sure what I”m doing as of yet. Would a humidifier be needed? I know people use dehumidifiers in basements, but I don’t find our basement very damp. What’s the use for humidifiers and babies?

My dr told me that is my daughters room during the living room every night and also use humidifier in the day my assumption would use humidifier from wal mart.
