I need a quiet efficient dehumidifier for my basement?

i just bought one from walmart online–it was a GE and it is listed like the 3rd one down when you do a search on the site—it was $178 and I’m pretty happy with it-it has a nice digital display that lets you know the current humidity and you can set it to the desired setting or let it run continuously—i just now hooked up a hose to it, to let it run without having to empty the bucket (the bucket is small in my opinion-I have a very damp basement–like the display just read 80% humidity…lol)
it is also energy star rated–but it doesn’t say it on the site (unless you go to the bottom of the page and click on questions and answers..)
it seems really quiet to me-but to be honest, I’m comparing it to a really old model from sears—-that one i could hear thru the floor upstairs!
I’ll come back and edit this if it explodes or something over night! lol…good luck!

Dehumidifiers have seen are pretty quiet all they do is cool down into collection container they really have no need.
