If I leave my dehumidifier off for a week, will mold grow in my basement?

in 2 weeks i will be going on a business trip that is going to be a week long. in that week would mold grow seeing as how i cant empty out the dehumidifier. i collect a gallon about every 15-18 hours.

The sump that you have sump and let the dehumidifier drain into the excess water.

I afraid it is a YES since your dehumidifier collect a gallon moisture every 18 hours. The humidity in your basement is simply too high. You can try the suggestion given the previous poster to drain the excess water via a sump. At the same time also, you may want to switch off a fan to help regulate the air flow.
