My dehumidifier is forming ice on the back coils. What is causing that? And how can I fix it?

When I check to see if there is water collected in the dehumidifier bin, there is nothing there. The coils in the back however are full of ice.

it could be that the room temperature is too low or it also could be the fan is not turning or something is plugged up. If the condensation freezes you will not have water in the bin. Check to make sure the fan is turning and that the temperature is not below about 70 degreesF
