nitowl asked:

we had a wet spot on our carpet in the basement. We had it dried out and with a dehumidifier on it has stayed dry. The setting is at 35 and the resevoir fills about every 24 hours. Is this to low? What is a good setting?

Dry is always good but 45-50% humidity should be fine. I usually set mine to about 45%. It goes as low as 40% but I think 50% would be OK.
