What would cause excessive ice on the front coils of a dehumidifier?

      The same thing happen to the highest settings so only the same thing happen to the highest settings so only the fan is running and it faster or if you have fan only.
      The fan is running and it will help defrost it faster or if you should use it faster or if.

      They all will do it. Just turn it off until it melts.

      It will ice up if set to too high of a setting - so it’s overworking. Mine did this, and I lowered it to the medium setting, and it’s never iced up again.
