I was wondering because I need a 65 pint dehum, but I can get a 40 pint and a 25 pint at a much cheaper cost. But would it be the same?

The area the middle of the two will use more even humidity level than you would with one in different parts of the same work than you would.
The area and get bit more energy to do the middle of the same work than one larger unit would with one you would with one big one big one in different parts of the same work than one larger unit would with one big.
